ANTHEM is a faith based, urban, performing arts program that trains the next generation to use their gifts and talents to glorify God.

Hello! My name is Melodie. I’m a certified full-time educator, a proud auntie, a devoted sister, and above all, a daughter of the Most High God. With years of experience in both teaching and performing arts, I have a passion to mentor young people through music, creativity, and faith.

My own journey began in childhood, participating in my cousin's performing arts group, where I learned the foundations of singing, dancing, and acting. Later, my sisters and I formed a trio that performed together for nearly a decade. Those years taught me not only the technical side of performance but also the power of using our gifts to serve others.

Whether singing at church youth events or sharing music in nursing homes, I’ve always seen the performing arts as a way to bring joy, healing, and truth to the world.

Anthem was born from my desire to give back—to create a safe, encouraging space where kids and teens can grow in their artistic abilities, develop strong character, and share God’s love through powerful, purpose-driven performances.

I’m excited to welcome every singer to Anthem and watch them grow both artists and young people of integrity.
